This highly entertaining group of multi-instrumentalists — including blues organ, trumpet, t-bone, even cigar-box guitars — has been delighting audiences throughout the Northwoods for over 20 years.
Kind of Blues delivers an energetic, driving mix of blues classics made famous by artists like B.B. King and Stevie Ray Vaughan, plus modern blues from performers such as Walter Trout, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, and Samantha Fish.
Then comes their signature “special sauce”: a healthy dose of upbeat, funky jazz drawn from artists like Miles Davis, Herbie Hancock, and Horace Silver.
The result is a truly unique sound that’s familiar but fresh, and unmistakably their own.
